I was born in Los Angeles in 1964, assigned male, and named Glen Bennett Cook. One of those three things went well long-term. I still love LA.
My father was a professional artist doing photo-realistic renderings of navel warfare systems. But he taught me to paint trees in oils. He never liked anything else I painted. That's okay - he was wrong about other things, too (see "origins).
I went to engineering schools instead of art school, and that's all gone well. I have a Ph.D., and helped invent the glass in the screen you're looking at. I still made art. This site is about that.
My art is about how I perceive and understand existence. I'll keep exploring, and sharing.
